We are right to be sceptical about Iraq

You know the going is getting tough when, with impeccable timing, Zarqawi or Bin Laden are wheeled out of retirement.

You know the going is getting tough when the US military make out that the Iraqi public want to live in concentration camps.

You know the going is getting tough when unidentified attackers attempt to ferment civil war by doing something no self-respecting Muslim would do - bombing landmark historic shrines.

Does not a big surprise come to scare us every time the President's ratings take a dive?
